New Facebook App Update Not Working | New 2019

Got this myself on my phone, and it just declined to upgrade. Below's what helped me.

Edit: this appears to be a problem that Facebook understand. It's an issue with the Facebook application, and not a generalised Play Store concern.

This is what benefited me a minimum of.

  1. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store, Clear data and Clear cache

  2. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Services > Manage room, Clear all data and Clear cache


It doesn't harmed if you restart your phone before you try upgrading facebook again. And also, the install was SLOW. Simply at least 4-5 minutes. But, it did work. If not attempt to uninstall it, or merely await a solution.
