Facebook App Won't Update | New 2019

Got this myself on my phone, and it just rejected to upgrade. Here's what helped me.

Edit: this appears to be a concern that Facebook recognize. It's a concern with the Facebook application, and not a generalised Play Store concern.

This is what benefited me at least.

  1. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Shop, Clear data and also Clear cache

  2. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Services > Manage room, Clear all data as well as Clear cache


It does not hurt if you restart your phone prior to you attempt upgrading facebook once again. And, the mount was SLOW. Just at the very least 4-5 minutes. But, it did job. If not attempt to uninstall it, or merely wait for a solution.
