Facebook Will Not Update | New 2019

Got this myself on my phone, and it simply declined to update. Below's what helped me.

Edit: this appears to be a concern that Facebook recognize. It's an issue with the Facebook application, and also not a generalised Play Shop issue.

This is what helped me at the very least.

  1. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store, Clear information as well as Clear cache

  2. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Services > Manage room, Clear all data and Clear cache


It does not harmed if you restart your phone before you try updating facebook once again. As well as, the set up was SLOW. Just at the very least 4-5 minutes. But, it did work. If not attempt to uninstall it, or just wait for a fix.
