Got this myself on my phone, and it simply rejected to update. Here's what benefited me.

Edit: this appears to be an issue that Facebook are aware of. It's an issue with the Facebook application, and not a generalised Play Shop concern.

This is what worked for me a minimum of.

  1. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Shop, Clear data and Clear cache

  2. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Solutions > Manage area, Clear all information as well as Clear cache


It does not harmed if you restart your phone prior to you try updating facebook once more. As well as, the mount was SLOW. Simply a minimum of 4-5 minutes. But, it did work. If not try to uninstall it, or simply wait on a repair.
